If you hang a left off route 9 in Wilmington you’ll be headed north on Rte. 100 towards the town of Dover and the Mt. Snow ski area. Mt. Snow gets a lot of skiers from major metropolitan areas in the Northeast because it’s the closest mountain to those cities.
Most of the landscape is fairly typical for a ski town; lots of places to stay and play. The center of Dover is quaint and has a historical feel to it.
