Pittsford is a dandy little town located on Route 7 between Rutland and Brandon. I have a special fondness for Pittsford since I practice and teach martial arts there at the Rising Sun Dojo. Pittsford has a lovely recreation area as well and Komuda’s Market has everything you might need without traveling to Rutland.
Pittsford is graced with nice residential neighborhoods and farmland as well. The Otter Creek runs through providing beauty and recreation for all.
One of these days I will be traveling through Pittsford at breakfast time so I can see what all the fuss is about at JR’s Eatery. That parking lot is always full. And don’t forget the Vermont Maple Museum while you’re passing through.
